Abstract: Reinsurance is the tool to risk dispersing mechanism for insurance company and excess of loss treaties is the most important policy for controlling the loss ratio for the insurer. This paper considers the problem of determining the number excess of loss claims which assessing in pricing reinsurance. We assume that the claim amount of claim has the exponentiated-exponential distribution. Maximum likelihood estimation for the parameters of the model is obtained. Finally, numerical simulations are provided to illustrate our results. |
