Abstract: A new agreement measure for multivariate observations among observers is proposed by modifying Berry and Mielke?s approach. The modification is to use the volume of simplex composed of data points as the disagreement measure. The proposed agreement measure is an extension of Cohen?s kappa coefficient to multivariate interval observations among several observers and is affine invariant under a certain class of nonsingular linear transformation. Comparison is made among the proposed agreement measure, Berry and Mielke?s coefficient and Janson and Olsson?s coefficient using hypothetical data set. |
Keywords and phrases: volume of simplex, multivariate interval observations, several observers. |
