EYE RECOGNITION USING A STATISTICAL APPROACH
In image processing, the area around the eyes can be used efficiently to recognize an individual within a large database of faces. In this statistically-oriented article, we use the statistical two sample t-test and the statistical cross-correlation coefficient, along with image resizing and lighting controls to obtain very good results. Our strategy has been successfully tested, and will be refined to bring search time to a minimum.
