Abstract: Obesity has been referred to as a disease by the World Health Organization, not only posing a serious threat on people’s health today, but also consuming considerable medical resources. World Health Organization, thus, appeals to the world to confront the problem of prevalence of obesity. This study aims to set up an obesity index as a tool to evaluate obesity prevalence. While the obesity solution plans offered by the government might cover tens of thousands of subjects, the obesity index is able to evaluate the effect of weight-control plans simply by sampling. |
