Abstract: This article focuses on considering the factors affecting intention to use debit card services. The data are selected from 630 students in Vietnam using a survey questionnaire. To estimate the study model, we use the multiple regression analysis. This article has achieved the great success by finding the first empirical evidence on the factors that influence the intention to use debit card services in Vietnam. Specifically, the intention to use debit card services (Y) is positively affected by the performance expectancy (X1), social influence (X2), facilitating conditions (X3) and effort expectancy (X4). Accordingly, to improve the intention to use debit card services of students, it is necessary for the banks to pay more attention on service-related characteristics as well as external factors like social influence. |
