KUMARASWAMY WEIBULL RAYLEIGH DISTRIBUTION: STATISTICAL PROPERTIES AND APPLICATION

Abstract: In this manuscript, a new five-parameter model, called the Kumaraswamy Weibull Rayleigh (KwWR) model, is proposed based on Kumaraswamy Weibull-G (KwW-G) family (Hassan and Elgarhy [4]). The new model contains some new models as well as some former models. Various properties of the KwWR model, as quantile function, expansion of density functions, moments, generating function, incomplete moments and inequality measures are discussed. The estimation of the model parameters is discussed using maximum likelihood (ML) method. The practical benefit of the KwWR model is demonstrated through real data set where we compare it with several lifetime models. |
