THE GAMMA INVERSE WEIBULL POISSON DISTRIBUTION WITH APPLICATION TO SURVIVAL DATA

Abstract: The family of generalized univariate Gamma distributions is proposed by Zografos and Balakrishnan [5] and comprehensively discussed by Nadarajah et al. [2]. In this paper, we study the Gamma Inverse Weibull Poisson Distribution that already has many of its submodels discussed in literature. We obtain an explicit expression of the Renyi entropy and demonstrate that the density of the Gamma Inverse Weibull Poisson is a combination of Inverse Weibull Poisson distribution densities. Various important mathematical properties are also discussed. |
