EXPLICIT EXPRESSIONS OF AVERAGE RUN LENGTH OF DOUBLE MOVING AVERAGE CONTROL CHART FOR ZIB MODELS WHEN THE UNDERLYING DISTRIBUTION IS RATIO OF TWO POISSON MEANS
The objective of this paper is to present explicit formulas for average run lengths for double moving average control charts for a zero-inflated binomial model when the underlying distribution is the ratio of two Poisson means and to compare the performance of the control chart and the control chart. The ARL results indicated that the control chart is superior to the control chart for detecting small shifts. The new formulas are simple, as well as easy to implement and use by practitioners.
