Abstract: This paper presents the generalized confidence intervals, proposed by Weerahandi [14], for a single variance, the difference between two population variances and the ratio of population variances of lognormal distribution. Monte Carlo simulation is used to evaluate the coverage probability of the proposed generalized confidence intervals. A real example is illustrated. |
