In this work, an experimental study of the compound parabolic concentrator (CPC) with flatplate one-sided absorber is presented. Hourly global solar radiation and corresponding ambient temperature data required for exergy analysis was automatically measured using an electronic module with data transmission to a database created with WINDEV software. The exergy efficiency of (CPC) defined as the ratio of desired exergy to used exergy is determined taking into account the typical operating conditions of the collector in Bandjoun. The result of this exergy analysis showed that the maximum exergy efficiency occurred at 12:30 pm and evaluated at 3.036%. Furthermore, by least-squares fitting of the experimental data, the difference temperature and the exergy efficiency of CPC is summarized.
