A MODEL OF SITUATION PROPAGATION PLATFORM ON THE MULTIMEDIA ACCESS TO THE NATIONAL DISASTER NETWORK
Each country is making great efforts to ensure the viability of disaster communication networks to save people’s lives and property during the golden time. LTE-based PPDR (Public Protection and Disaster Relief), in Korea Public Safety LTE (PS-LTE) services with the All-IP architecture and unified controls from network operators and dispatchers, has been constructed, and its higher development is underway. As a result, the establishment of a unified disaster safety communication network that supports the command, dissemination, and co-operation between organizers at various disaster sites requires accurate and rapid sharing of disaster situations, as well as systematic disaster response and recovery. In this study, a model for the development of “multimedia based multimedia disaster information delivery platform” that accommodates next generation LTE, 5G and UHD was proposed in detail. Through this research result, it is expected to be used as a new core infrastructure by not only delivering accurate multimedia disaster situation propagation, but also suggesting the leading construction model of disaster situation propagation platform over PS-LTE, 5G and UHD.
