EFFECT OF ELECTROMAGNETIC FORCE ON MHD FREE CONVECTIVE HEAT AND MASS FLOW OVER A VERTICAL POROUS PLATE
An analytical approach is initiated to observe an unsteady, free convection, magnetohydrodynamics flow over an infinite vertical plate embedded in a porous medium. The fluid is assumed to be electrically conducting, incompressible and viscous. Laplace transformation technique is applied to the governing equations to obtain the flow profiles. The effect of Hartmann number on velocity profile is observed and justified. The influence of chemical reaction, Prandtl number and thermo diffusion effect on the flow profiles is depicted in graphs.
