We are living in a ubiquitous computing environment that connects everything to the network anytime and anywhere. Effective remote computer control methods required in such ubiquitous computing environments have been attracting attention of researchers and administrators. Especially the interest on remote control method in case of system failure is increased in researchers and workers in this area. This study is to discuss the methods of remote controlling through scientific methodology and present desirable ways for developing remote computer controlling suitable for ubiquitous computing environments.
