MAGNETIC FIELD AND THERMAL RADIATION EFFECTS ON MIXED CONVECTION HEAT AND MASS TRANSFER OF MICROPOLAR FLUID ALONG A VERTICAL SLENDER HOLLOW CIRCULAR CYLINDER
In this paper, the problem of the effects of magnetic field and thermal radiation on mixed convection heat and mass transfer along a vertical slender hollow circular cylinder filled with a micropolar fluid is treated. Uniform surface temperature and concentration are considered. The nonlinear differential equations obtained are transformed with the local non-similarity approach and using the two-equation model and then solved numerically by MATLAB software. The influence of micropolar material, magnetic field, radiation and buoyancy parameters on the local skin friction, local heat transfer and local mass transfer parameters of interest is determined.
