Abstract: The efficiency of converting low-grade heat energy into electricity in the cycle based on charged droplet growth was calculated. The cycle consists of three stages: charged droplets generation, charged droplets growth in temperature gradient and charged droplets integration. At the second stage, heat energy converts into the surface energy and at the third stage surface energy converts into electrical energy. It was shown that the efficiency of such a cycle could reach high values, in spite of the significant energy loss at the third stage. According to our hypothesis, the entropy leaves charged droplet with non-thermal electromagnetic waves caused by the droplet rotation. |
