Abstract: The contribution deals with the research of temperature fields around heated tube bundles (Ts = 313 K, 323 K, 333 K) cooled by forced convection of air at Re = 52; 78 and 196. The temperature fields around tube bundles were visualizated by holographic interferometry. The research was carried out in a square and triangular arrangement of tube bundles in experimental channel. From holographic interferograms were evaluated distributions of temperature fields and calculated local and mean heat transfer coefficients around the heated tubes, αx and αm. The second row of triangular tube bundles are strongly affected by the forced air and the most significant increase of by 79% occurred at the surface temperature Ts = 313 K for the triangular arrangement. However, with an increasing surface temperature of the tubes from 313 to 333 K, there was a decrease in αx due to insufficient heat exchange. |
