Abstract: In this paper, a compact meander spurline bandstop filter (BSF) was designed and simulated at 7.1GHz for the C band application. It was designed on Teflon substrate with dielectric constant of 2.54 and thickness of 0.54mm. The insertion loss (S21) is less than 30dB and the return loss (S11) is 0.03dB in the simulation results as its S-parameter responses. The 3dB bandwidth of the designed BSF was 142.65GHz which was a wide bandwidth. The roll off characteristic was also excellent which is higher. It is a better performance of the device. The overall size of the multi-meander spurline BSF is 0.541λg ´ 0.073λg in terms of guided wavelength. |
