This work is concerned with the modified Benjamin-Bona-Mahony (MBBM) equation. The extended hyperbolic function (EHF) method has been used in order to obtain multiple exact special solutions for this equation. Some entirely new exact and explicit solutions of the MBBM equation are obtained and some of the other results obtained in this paper can be viewed as a general case of the previously known results. The proposed scheme can be applied to a wide class of nonlinear equations.
