EXACT AND ASYMPTOTIC SOLUTIONS TO THE TRAJECTORY OF INJECTED GAS JET IN A STAGNANT LIQUID
In this paper, the trajectory of a turbulent gas jet injected in a stagnant liquid is studied analytically. Exact solutions for jet of Themelis and also for the jet Engh and Bertheussen are found. These solutions are compared with exact numerical solutions which show a good agreement between them. In addition, the theoretical solutions are compared with experimental results available in the literature.
