AB2IG - AN EFFICIENT CRYPTO SYSTEM
Information security plays a pivotal role in every domain related to exchange of information. There is always a demand for simple and stronger encryption methods. Copious numbers of encryption algorithms are currently existent and have been achieving data security to a great extent. But, as the level of security increases, the complexity of algorithm also increases. This results in reduction in speed and requires more CPU cycles for processing. Striking a balance between the level of security and speed of processing is always important. A new encryption algorithm has been proposed in this paper “AB2IG - ASCII Binary 2’s complement Invert Gray” which provides simple yet enhanced security, thereby offering higher speed of the encryption. An attempt to invent a new encryption model is made which strikes a balance between security and speed.
