CHOOSING OF THE EXCITATION CURRENT OF THE AUTONOMOUS ASYNCHRONOUS GENERATOR WITH PHASE-WOUND ROTOR
The law of variation of the generator’s excitation current has been determined on the basis of the asynchronous machine with phase-wound rotor. Changing of the excitation current under this law allows us to maintain the constant pressure and frequency at the output of the generator, when load current and rotation speed of the rotor are changed.
The characteristics of the generator based on asynchronous machine with EMAM4 phase rotor are described in this article. The primary excitation flux was created by three-phase sinusoidal current supplied to the rotor winding through phase rings of the rotor. Operating value and excitation current frequency were controlled by microprocessor system.
The experimental results show the efficiency in application of the three-phase current for excitation of the asynchronous generator with such phase rotor.
