THE STUDY OF INJECTION LOCKING PHENOMENON BASED ON MULTI-TIME FORCED OSCILLATION CIRCUIT MODEL
In this paper, the multi-time technique and the transfer function are used to analyze and explain the behaviors of the injection locked oscillator. The proposed analysis included with the law of conservation of energy is able to demonstrate the locking process in a new aspect and also provides the new accurate determination of the locking range. Furthermore, the proposed analysis can also illustrate amplitude and phase components of the output signal when the input-signal frequency is out of the locking range. The phase-shifter and Wienbidge oscillators are employed to verify the proposed analytical technique. Moreover, the application of the proposed method is demonstrated using the OTA oscillator which is applied for amplitude modulation.
