DESIGN AND ANALYSIS OF WIDEBAND PATTERN RECONFIGURABLE ANTENNA FOR 4G WiMAX SYSTEM AT S-BAND
This article represents a novel pattern reconfigurable antenna for WiMAX application. Now-a-days, people are looking for wideband antenna for larger bandwidth in any systems. This antenna offers wideband for WiMAX system which fulfills the requirement of 4G technology. Not only that, this antenna works at S-band at 2.6GHz and this will reduce the cost of establishment and will be easier comparing with other 4G antennas at high frequencies. The main purpose of this antenna is to reconfigure pattern. By using two ports, this antenna is able to shift the pattern 180 degrees oppositely and they can be active at the same time. This patch antenna is highly directive and covers the region about 180 degrees by using two ports. Other features like compactness, low VSWR and high efficiency make this antenna more effective and unique from others.
