AN EFFICIENT DDoS ATTACKS DETECTING AND PREVENTION SYSTEM IN A 5G ENVIRONMENT
5G is one of the major challenges for telecommunication technologies in the coming years. It draws its importance from its high flexibility and bandwidth as well as its feature of dividing physical networks into sub-virtual networks. The 5G technology is currently gaining a lot of attention, but its deployment may have many unknown risks on networks such as computer attacks that have become more sophisticated and difficult to detect. In this paper, we propose a 5G architecture based on virtualization, in particular on software defined network (SDN) and network function virtualization (NFV) technologies. The OpenFlow classification module (OFCM) was used for analyzing packets passing through the network to protect and secure it against DDoS TCP flood attacks.
