EFFICIENT DEVICE FOR MEASURING AND CONTROLLING VARIOUS PARAMETERS IN STANDALONE SOLAR/WIND SYSTEM INCORPORATING INTERNET OF THINGS
The prima donna is to have a perfect design of an IoT device used for measuring and storing (cloud storage) parameters like solar irradiation, temperature, humidity, anemometer and pollution control with proper mechanical design. This device comprises of all the features which make the user comfortable, safe and portable. Using sophisticated sensors, the ultimate device is developed. The main objective is to monitor all the parameters required for stability in a standalone hybrid renewable system with a generator backup designed as a single unit. Furthermore, the monitored parameters will be sent to the PC and mobile applications. The huge database recorded over a long time should be maintained properly. Hence database management using IoT has to be implemented. The device in this paper is a single unit which can sense, store and control the above said parameters. The results were compared with various other sensing and monitoring devices. These sensors are related to Atmega and when interfaced with Raspberry Pi, the determined qualities are stored away in cloud. The fashionable procedure for observance system varied from alternative system by allowing the client to figure the system from anywhere round the globe through web association.
