DSP IMPLEMENTATION OF THE MIMO MC-CDMA RECEIVER USING THE FIXED POINT CORDIC ALGORITHM
A new technology has emerged in telecommunication systems that improved the quality of transmission. This technology has as main objectives to increase the transmission rate and exploit the diversity offered by the system. This is the Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO) system, which uses several antennas in emission and several antennas in reception.
This work proposes the experimental implementation of a MIMO receiver in a context MC-CDMA and to focus on the methodology of design of software and hardware implementation. We propose an improvement which allows reducing the processing time of the data of a MIMO MC-CDMA receiver while maintaining better performances; this is done by the use of the CORDIC operator and the fixed point to increase the rates of treatment keeping a better precision.
