FPGA BASED MODEL FOR SUPPRESSING THE TRANSMITTER LEAKAGE IN CARRIER AGGREGATION APPLICATIONS
In this paper, FPGA based dual basis distortion model is proposed to describe the characteristics of distortion created by transmitter leakage in multiband transceivers. This model is built by first generating the two basis functions. They are named as basis-1 and basis-2. Basis-1 function is used to locate frequency components in target bands where the distortion is to be cancelled, and basis-2 function is used to mapping input to output. Then the basis functions are weighting with the envelope dependent nonlinearities. The generated distortion signal is cancelled by the distortion in received signal. This can be achieved with low complexity implementation of proposed model using Xilinx system generator tool.
