MULTISWITCH OPERATION MODE RECTENNA (MSOMR) DEVICE FOR TELEVISION AND RADIO BASED ON MICROCONTROLLER ATmega328
The process of energy harvesting can be done in various ways. Rectenna is one of the alternatives that can be used. Rectenna can convert electromagnetic waves into electrical voltage. This article discusses how to switch between rectenna with TV and radio that is through multiswitch operation mode rectenna. MSOMR works by using current sensors, rectenna and ATmega328 microcontroller. The TV and radio are connected to a current sensor that detects the voltage so that it can trigger the Arduino to work. The output of the current sensor is forwarded to the Arduino and the Arduino output is connected to the rectenna. The switching process occurs when the microcontroller gets input from the current sensor so as to trigger the Arduino to transmit analog signals to the rectenna. Rectenna will be off when the Arduino gets the information that the current sensor is on. Instead, the rectenna will light up with a voltage value of 47.6mV when the Arduino gets the information that the current sensor is off.
