INFRASONIC FILTER DESIGN AND INFINITE IMPULSE RESPONSE FOR DETECTING FETAL HEARTBEATS
Fetal Doppler is a detector of baby heartbeat in the womb. It is known that the baby’s heart rate in the womb under normal circumstances is in the range of 120-140 beats per minute. So to validate the baby’s heartbeat frequency with the mother’s heart rate, a bandpass filter is used. From the calculation of the baby’s heartbeat range in the womb it can be obtained the beat frequency of 2-3 hertz. To filter the frequency bandpass filter is used and to make the best design then experimented by using type IIR digital filter that is bandpass filter Chebyshev. Then the theoretical calculations will be simulated using Matlab and Xilinx FPGA and further research will be made prototype integrated circuit digital filter.
