PERFORMANCE COMPARISON OF DUAL-HOP COMMUNICATION SYSTEMS IN RAILWAY ENVIRONMENTS
Relay assisted transmission is widely adopted in wireless communication systems. In this paper, we analyze the performance of dual-hop communication systems which use single relay node in railway environments. Dual-hop communication systems are categorized in four cases depending on the signaling schemes. The performances of all these cases are compared. We also consider the effect of relay location and energy allocation for performance comparison.
