Deployment of smartphone and advances of multimedia search engine could make information searching result to be more accurate, but the invasion of privacy could be increased at the same time. This study tried to verify the impacts of three information control mechanisms for privacy protection in SNS, even when the image searching tool could be used for invasion. Results indicate that image searching tool could significantly increase the privacy concern and decrease the trust on SNS provider. Three information control mechanisms could decrease the privacy concern, but only access control could increase the trust. This study provides the implications how the information controls be designed in SNS.
