A SECURE AND RELIABLE ROUTING FRAMEWORK FOR VANET
The mobile networking has attracted a great number of researchers and industries. The vehicular ad-hoc network is a key to intelligent transport system. Due to high mobility and frequent change in topology, traditional protocols of MANETs are not suitable for VANETs. This paper proposes an enhanced routing protocol for VANETs which concerns security issues of VANETs from some aspects and provides the solution to those issues. We also have repeaters placed on high building in order to avoid breakage of signals. Besides this, the message forwarding is the responsibility of the farthest node available in the range. This enhanced routing protocol along with dual way authentication also provides signal strengthening by using repeaters.
