IMPLEMENTATION OF A DISCRETE-TIME EXTENDED SLIDING MODE OBSERVER FOR A PMSM
A fifth-order discrete-time extended sliding mode observer (DESMO) is proposed for on-line estimation of speed and rotor position in a permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM). The experimental results carried out on a 1.6kW PMSM are presented to illustrate the validity and the good robustness of the proposed DESMO approach against noises and disturbances.
