AGGRANDIZE THE REQUEST RESPONSE DETECTION ALGORITHM FOR DETECTING AND ELIMINATING MALICIOUS NODES FROM THE VANET (A-RRDA FOR DoS ATTACK DETECTION)
VANET is an emerging technology in which vehicles frame a versatile system. It is a specific type of MANET. Vehicles are outfitted with On Board Unit (OBU) that empowers them to communicate with different hubs that are available in the system. Alongside V2V communication, and Vehicle to Roadside communication (V2I) exist. Numerous security attacks are conceivable in VANETs, for example, Sybil attack, denial of service attack. In this paper, a novel method has been proposed to distinguish and uproot DoS attack expanding the system’s proficiency. A thought is to figure the estimated time to come to the distinctive RSUs from source to destination alongside the thought of tolerance factor with the number of endeavors till the destination has to come. The proposed work builds the productivity in identifying the DoS all the more successfully and subsequently amplifies the security of VANET.
