THERMAL DIFFUSION EFFECT ON TRANSIENT MHD FLOW PAST AN INCLINED PLATE EMBEDDED IN POROUS MEDIUM
An attempt has been made to study the thermal diffusion effect on a flow of an incompressible viscous electrically conducting fluid past an inclined plate embedded in porous medium. A uniform magnetic field is assumed to be applied normal to the plate. The resultant equations governing the flow are solved by the method of separation of variables. Expressions for velocity, temperature and concentration fields, and skin-friction, Nusselt number and Sherwood number are obtained. The effects of physical parameters on the above fields are discussed through graphs and the results are interpreted.
