WEAK NONLINEAR ANALYSIS OF TRIPLE DIFFUSIVE CONVECTION IN OLDROYD-B LIQUID
Weak nonlinear analysis is carried out for triple diffusive convection in Oldroyd-B liquid. Nonlinear analysis is based on truncated representation of Fourier series. The resulting Lorenz model is solved numerically to quantify the heat and mass transfer through Nusselt and Sherwood numbers. It is observed that the increase in stress relaxation parameter increases the heat and mass transfer whereas increase in strain retardation parameter decreases the heat and mass transfer. The results of Newtonian, Maxwell and Revlin-Erickson liquids have been obtained from the present study.
