NEW CONTRIBUTION TO STOKES EQUATIONS
In this paper, velocity-pressure formulation using new contribution in the method of fundamental solutions (MFS) with iterative schema is used to resolve steady-state incompressible Stokes flows problem. The present method is validated by using the lid-drive flow in square cavity and flow between parallel plates problem. The method of fundamental solutions (MFS) has been found to be very powerful for analyzing Stokes flow problems. The paper also discusses the effect of different number of collocation points and their locations on the numerical accuracy.
