REGULARIZATION MODEL EFFECT ON YIELD STRESS FLUIDS BEHAVIOR IN A ROTATING VESSEL
The study of fluids presenting residual stress has two basic difficulties: the construction of adequate constitutive models to have feasible mathematical treatment, and the development of approximation methods is suitable to deal with the existing nonlinear effects. In this paper, the characterization of hydrodynamic fields of incompressible yield stress fluid with regularization model of Bercovier and Engelman [1] in a rotating cylindrical vessel equipped with anchor stirrer was undertaken using Fluent CFD 6.2.13.
