CR-SUBMANIFOLDS OF LOCALLY CONFORMAL ALMOST COSYMPLECTIC MANIFOLDS

Abstract:
In 1978, CR-submanifolds of a Kaehler manifold was defined and studied by Bejancu [Proc. Amer. Math. Soc. 69 (1978), 135-142; Trans. Amer. Math. Soc. 250 (1979), 333-345]. Since then many papers appeared on this topic. CR-submanifolds of a Sasakian manifold was studied by Kobayashi [Tensor N. S. 35 (1981), 297-307], Shahid et al. [Review Research Fac. Sc. Yugoslavia 15 (1985), 263-278], Matsumoto [Int. J. Math. Math. Sci. 6 (1993), 313-326] and others. On the other hand, there is an interesting class of almost contact metric manifolds which are locally conformal to almost cosymplectic manifolds [Pacific J. Math. 31 (1969), 373-382]. These manifolds are called locally conformal almost cosymplectic manifolds [Colloq. Math. 57(1) (1989), 73-87]. The aim of this paper is to obtain some results on CR-submanifold of a locally conformal almost cosymplectic manifold. |
