Let Mbe a real hypersurface in a complex space form    In this paper, we prove that if  holds on M, then Mis a Hopf hypersurface, where  and  denote the structure Jacobi operator and the induced operator from the Lie derivative with  respect to the structure vector field x, respectively. We investigate the geometric properties and characterize such Hopf hypersurfaces of
