Abstract: The aim of the present work is to study the effects of chemical reaction and thermal radiation on free convection flow of an incompressible fluid through a porous medium with variable suction in the presence of magnetic field. The equations of continuity, energy and diffusion, which govern the flow field, are solved by using a regular perturbation method. The effects of various variables like magnetic parameter, chemical reaction parameter, porosity parameter, radiation parameter, etc. on the real part of velocity, temperature and concentration fields have been discussed with the help of graphs plotted against y. |
