DETERMINATION OF ANGULAR COEFFICIENTS OF THERMAL RADIATION OF A TORCH ON A HEATING SURFACE, ARRANGED PARALLEL TO THE AXIS OF THE TORCH

Abstract: Heat exchange by radiation makes up 90-98% of the total heat exchange in flare furnaces, furnaces of steam boilers, combustion chambers of gas turbine plants and arc steel-making furnaces. The author discovered the laws of thermal radiation of gas volumes of torches of furnaces, combustion chambers, and electric arcs of arc steel-making furnaces. To calculate the thermal radiation of the torch and the electric arc to the calculated area located parallel to the axis of the torch and the electric arc, analytical expressions are derived to determine the angular coefficients of the thermal radiation of the torch and the electric arc. |
