A STUDY ON FILTER REALIZATION FOR SECURITY OF INTERNET OF THINGS

Abstract: As IoT equipments are being used in many different places, their utilization has also increased tremendously in our daily life. According to increase in the number of IoT devices over the network attacked from either inside or outside, serious harm to both devices and people is occurring. To prevent this from happening, the comprehensive assessment of network security needs to be done. They are especially vulnerable to worm virus and DoS flooding attacks since they are comprised of low-memory hardware. This paper will recommend a network filter that will enhance the security of IoT devices and search for ways to improve security and availability. For this task, we will present a network security filter that is suitable for IoT devices. As a result, we propose a way to increase user convenience after setting the filter for the device by reducing unnecessary losses due to general resetting. |
