Abstract: The purpose of this work is the study of thermal conductivity, specific heat density, thermal diffusivity and effusivity of a composite laminate material comprising, two layers of clay as incorporated matrix of copper fibers as reinforcement, after the development of previously prepared samples, we proceed to the experimental study, by measuring thermal conductivity and specific heat density by the CT metre, then the values of the diffusivity and the thermal effusivity are calculated from the measured values of the thermal conductivity and specific heat density and one proceeds studying the behavior of thermo-physical parameters composite material prepared with respect to copper content and temperature. |
Keywords and phrases: copper fibers, clay matrix, thermal conductivity, thermal diffusivity, specific heat density, thermal effusivity.
