CALCULATION OF POWER DENSITY OF THE SOURCE OF ENERGY BASED ON IONS DIFFUSION IN MAGNETIC FIELD FROM SALTY TO FRESH WATER

Abstract: We propose a concept of the device for generation electrical power using fresh and salty water mixing. The work of suggested device is based on ions separation in the magnetic field. The ions drift from salty to fresh water with their trajectories bent in a magnetic field. It is the reason of potential difference generation. The calculations show that the power density of the device is very little because of low diffusion coefficients of the ions. |
