Abstract: The problem of determining crop yield is acute in countries where agriculture is a major economic resource. This problem is even more acute in the context of current climate change. Knowing how to predict crop yield therefore has important economic and social consequences for the populations and growth of countries with the highest agricultural income. It is in this context that we propose in this paper to use multiple linear regression to determine cotton crop yield. An application is being conducted in the Western Logone region, located in southern Chad, to show the effectiveness of multiple linear regression in predicting cotton crop yield using performance indices. |
