Abstract: In this paper, we propose a microstrip ultra-wideband (UWB) bandstop filter (BSF) using a symmetric frequency selective coupling structure (SFSCS). The proposed UWB BSF is designed based on lossless FSCS with transverse wave form and it used two FSCSs of and each resonator is shunt open circuit resonator (SOCR) of The SOCR is composed of a meander line configuration. In the measurement results of the proposed UWB, the maximum transmission coefficient and reflection coefficient are 43.78dB and 0.278dB, respectively, at the center frequency of 6.8GHz with 3dB bandwidth of 5.51GHz. The physical size of the fabricated BSF is |
