SOLVING SHAPE OPTIMIZATION PROBLEM OF AN ELASTIC MEMBRANE BY COLLOCATION METHOD
In this paper, we provide a discrete approach, based on the principle of collocation, for the numerical solution of a shape optimization problem of an elastic membrane. The numerical experiment is carried out first on admissible rectangular shapes and then on admissible circular (disks) shapes. This approach has many advantages confirmed by numerical results.
