POISSON APPROXIMATION FOR THE COUPON COLLECTOR’S PROBLEM
In probability theory, the coupon collector’s problem relates to a person trying to collect a complete set of m different types of coupons, with each type having a certain probability of being collected. We use the Stein-Chen method to obtain estimation of error Poisson approximation to distribution of the coupon collector’s problem.
