ON CONVERGENCE OF NEWTON’S METHOD FOR THREE-PARAMETER MATRIX EIGENVALUE PROBLEMS
In this paper, one step of Newton’s method for solving non-linear system is extended to three-parameter matrix eigenvalue problem to find approximate eigenvalues and the corresponding approximate eigenvectors. Convergence conditions will also be derived in terms of matrix 2-norm and numerical study will be done analytically with the help of suitable example.
